2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Teaser Reveals 300+ Mile Range

We knew the Jeep Wagoneer S was coming, and we already guessed it would get a higher range and nearly 600 horsepower. We'll have more details next week after the official reveal, but after a teaser video was revealed this week, here's what we know right now.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Specifications

In addition to showing a drag race between the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S and the Tesla Model Y Performance (spoiler alert: the Wagoneer S wins), the trailer shows actual specifications, including:

  • 3.4 seconds 0-to-60-MPH time
  • 600 horses
  • 617 pound-feet of torque
  • 300+ miles wide

Sure, you won't be able to get a 3.4-second 0-to-60-MPH time again go 300+ miles without a charge, but we'll know more after the reveal on May 30.

Some things (we think) we know

According to the teaser, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is similar to the Grand Cherokee but looks smaller. The fact that Jeep is comparing it to the Model Y (187 inches long) means it will probably be 6 to 7 inches shorter than the Grand Cherokee (193.5 inches long).

We also see a red leather interior with excellent stitching accents, so we're expecting some kind of performance (TrackHawk?) to decide on more performance features and a sporty look. The pre-production model in the teaser also looks to get a square steering wheel, which could be standard or with a performance trim.

And, with “Sand” mode, Jeep still aims for the Wagoneer S to be off-road capable. TBD as to whether it will be re-calibrated for the trail.

It is not clear whether the Wagoneer S will be all-wheel drive only or there will be a two-wheel drive variant.

In addition to the teaser, Jeep has also opened an information page, where you can see some additional images and color options. There's also a nice interior that features a front passenger screen, cool ambient lighting, a separate screen for the HVAC controls and nice accent features.

Oh, yes, and it will get a stellar McIntosh sound system.

An important point

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is expected to go on sale by the end of the year, and we have less than a week to wait to see more details. This will be the first flagship electric car from Stellantis in the US, and it looks like it's going to be a good one.

It will have to happen as Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Chrysler are late to the full EV party.
