The new 2025 GMC Terrain AT4 has been teased by the company with a new headlight design.

The GMC Terrain AT4 will be a completely redesigned version of the small crossover SUV and will be fully revealed later this year.

What to expect from the 2025 GMC Terrain AT4

Looking at the newly redesigned 2025 Chevy Equinox, a sibling to the GMC Terrain, we can take a few things.

First, the GMC Terrain will be 2.3″ wider than the outgoing model and, with other exterior changes, it looks bigger and has a bolder look.

Second, the cabin will be filled with the latest technology including a larger 11.3″ diagonal infotainment screen that allows for larger buttons and a better view of the various cameras.

Third, the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine will be under threat. This will be a caught-over powertrain mated to the old 9-speed automatic or 8-speed automatic as used in the Equinox. The AT4 will likely still be available only in all-wheel drive.

Fourth, there will be various standard and available safety features such as side bicyclist alert, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-traffic braking.

Fifth, the GMC Terrain AT4 will likely see a slight price increase while the base model will hold its price the same. Big price increases will come with higher trim levels and option packages.

An important point

GMC SUVs are being updated with the new 2024 GMC Acadia, the new 2025 GMC Yukon coming next month and now this tease of the GMC Terrain. The new GMC Terrain should keep it competitive in a segment that has blown up over the past few years.
